RYLA will be held June 28 – July 3

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is a leadership development program run by Rotary. While participants can be any age, most events focus on secondary school students, university students, or young professionals.

District 5870 will hold their RYLA over the June 28 – July 3. RESCUSA will sponsor one camper. The campers will learn:

  • Leadership fundamentals and ethics
  • Communication skills
  • Problem solving and conflict management
  • Community and global citizenship

District 5870 Grants Management Training Seminar on March 28, 2015

Online registration for the March 28, 2015, District 5870 Grants Management Training Seminar is now open.

The Rotary Foundation requires that each club that plans to participate in the District Vocational Scholarship Program, District Assistance Program (DAP) Grants and/or Global Grants have club members that attend annually a Grants Management Training Seminar (GMTS).

If the club’s President Elect nor any other member in good standing do not attend the three-hour GMTS at Lone Star P.E.T.S., then to meet the Rotary Foundation annual requirement a club may choose one of the below opportunities.

  1. A three-hour GMTS for Presidents Elect and other club members who did not attended during Rotary Year 2014–2015; and,
  2. A one-hour GMTS for those club members who did attend a GMTS ( three-hour session) during Rotary Year 2014–2015.

Both a three-hour and a one-hour GMTS will be presented on Saturday, March 28, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. – Noon, at the Georgetown Healthcare Foundation Community Rooms, 2423 Williams Dr., Georgetown TX.

There is no fee.
